Kit Brewer Elected to ANCOR’s Board of Representatives

We are thrilled to announce that Kit Brewer, Executive Director of Project CU, will serve a 3-year term on ANCOR’s Board of Representatives (BOR) starting October 1, 2024. Kit, one of three Missouri representatives, brings over 25 years of experience as a non-profit leader and social entrepreneur to this important role.

ANCOR (American Network of Community Options and Resources) works to create inclusive communities for people with disabilities. It focuses on advocacy, education, and leadership to ensure high-quality support services. Kit’s role on the BOR will strengthen ties between state organizations and ANCOR, shaping national policies and increasing member engagement.

In addition to leading Project CU, Kit also serves as the Vice President of The Coalition for the Preservation of Employment Choice. His advocacy for disability rights stems from both his professional experience and his role as a parent to an adult child on the autism spectrum. Furthermore, Kit will join the Government Engagement and Grassroots Advocacy committees, driving forward policies that promote inclusive employment and community integration.

At Challenge Unlimited, we take immense pride in Kit’s leadership and his commitment to advocating on behalf of the men and women we serve. His work on the ANCOR Board of Representatives will help ensure that the voices of those with disabilities are heard and that they receive the support they deserve.

We are thrilled to support Kit in this new role and look forward to seeing the positive impact he will have on Project CU, ANCOR, and the broader disability community.

Kit’s term will begin October 1, 2024. Stay tuned for updates as he embarks on this new journey with ANCOR!
